David Holt & Josh Goforth  Malcolm Dalglish
DAVID HOLT and JOSH GOFORTH are two master musicians from North Carolina. David is recognized as one of the nation’s foremost folk musicians and storytellers. He has earned four Grammy Awards, and performed and recorded with many of his mentors including Doc Watson, Grandpa Jones, Bill Monroe, Earl Scruggs, Roy Acuff and Chet Atkins. He has been a frequent guest on Hee Haw, Nashville Now and The Grand Ole Opry. David also appears as a musician in the popular film, O Brother Where Art Thou. Josh is one of the finest young musicians in North Carolina and is bringing the music of his birthrights into the 21st century. Together they deliver folk traditions that explode with creative energy and extraordinary talent. They will be performing material from Cutting Loose, the duo’s first ever live recording. MALCOLM DALGLISH is a choral composer and director, hammer dulcimer, spoons, bones, and chin music virtuoso. Born in Indiana, he made his stage debut at the age of ten, and soon caught the attention of the American Boy Choir. His course changed dramatically after he chanced upon folk musician Guy Carawan playing a hammered dulcimer. His early recordings reflected roots in Irish music, but he continues to branch out. Malcolm continues to find new outlets for his musical vision. His latest project is Into The Sky which features Malcolm’s vocal ensemble Oodoo.
